Is Thailand local food Child Friendly

Is Thailand local food is child friendly , or will I be able to find western food for my kid? That is probably a question that each parent should ask him self before coming to Thailand.
You can find most popular baby powders formulas in local stores, they are available every ware and easy to find.

Thai food is very different from what our children are used at home. Older children 1.5/2 years old , might find local food as not tasty , or just different. We faced a problem with our son , who refused to touch the  food here , good that we had  some Quaker and other things we brought from home, so that became an inconvenience only.

It will be good solution , to book a child friendly hotel or service apartment like we described  earlier . That will allow you to cook to your kids and not be depend on what is sold on the streets.  For bigger kids you may consider, McDonalds , Burger King or Subway , It is not the best food for your child, but you can find those on the tourist populated places , and in crises they can be helpful.

Eventually our son started to eat some of the local foods. I’d consider child friendly the following  (PadThai, Fried Rise, Sticky Rise and some of the sweets they have)

And now,  to give you an impression on how local food looks like .I’ve prepared some pictures. We tasted most of the dishes , some of them we wirily like and find very delicious.Unfortunately I don’t know the names, perhaps you might help.
