Thailand with Children-Ko Phi Phi-Maya Bay and Bamboo Island
During our short stay in Phi Phi Island we decided to visit some of the neighbor islands and beaches.
After looking around at local agencies, we decided on 2 tours. Tour to famous Maya Bay and Bamboo Island. Getting an island tour with children is bit complex , so we decided to rent a private boat for half day .
The tour prices were 1200 Baht for Maya Bay and 1500 Baht for Bamboo Island.
Please note that you need to pay additional 200 Baht per person fee on the island (We didn’t know about it. So we took our sun protection creams, sun glasses and swimsuits and got on board.
Maya bay in my opinion is to over promoted. The lagoon is beautiful and the water color is amazing , but still , in my opinion, Krabi Hong Island for example has much more to offer.
Don’t get me wrong it worth’s visiting. The pictures from there are for a lifetime.

And we did a picture for the family album.
At the day after after we woke up and went to Bamboo Island.
Well , this is one piece of paradise, at the moment we arrived there the Island was almost empty and we enjoyed the beach almost by ourselves.
Both Islands are national parks ,they’ve been kept clean and the water is amazing. You can’t get the children out of there.
I think next time I’ll be on Phi Phi , I’ll get back to Bamboo for a whole day , or even spend the night there.
Meanwhile I hope this bench will wait for me.
